As medical debt continues to rise, and end of year cuts to the Affordable Care act looming, access to affordable coverage will be a challenge in the coming years.  In addtion, research from Blue Health Intelligence® (BHI®) raises questions about how AI-powered medical scribes may be contributing to increased billing and documentation complexity. At the same time, artificial intelligence is increasingly being used in healthcare collections, creating new concerns about transparency, accuracy, and patients’ rights.
