134 - The Battle of Pinkie & The Battle of Stirling Bridge

This week in Scottish History sees TWO significant battle anniversaries!

Part I - The Battle of Pinkie Cleugh, which happened not far from where I live today in Musselburgh during the reign of Mary, Queen of Scots during the "Rough Wooing" that was instigated by King Henry VIII

Part II - The Battle of Stirling Bridge, involving Sir William Wallace and the unfairly forgotten Andrew Moray during the First War of Scottish Independence against King Edward I of England, "The Hammer of the Scots".
