669. The Biohacking Bullshit That Has Gone Too Far29 sept1 h 05 min

What happens when biohacking stops being about improving your health and starts costing you money, creating more stress, and taking you away from your actual life? In this episode, I’m calling out the biohacking bullshit that has gone too far, from endless supplements and peptides to CGMs, cold plunges, expensive devices, whole-body MRIs, biological-age testing, and the pressure to constantly optimize another metric. Just because something is expensive, high-tech, or backed by some scientific mechanism doesn’t mean it is actually solving your problem.

I’m not anti-biohacking. I use some of these tools myself. The issue is what happens when we start using the 5% to avoid the 95% that actually matters: sleep, nutrition, movement, muscle, stress, relationships, and addressing underlying physiology. I break down the five questions I want you to ask before spending another dollar on a biohacking intervention and why the ultimate measure of health may have less to do with your readiness score or biological age and more to do with whether you have the energy and freedom to enjoy your life.

What you’ll learn:

The hidden costs of taking biohacking too far

How fear can drive unnecessary health spending

When health tracking starts creating more stress than value

What to consider before spending thousands on peptides, devices, or testing

Why more data doesn't automatically mean better health

How optimization can start interfering with food, family, and everyday life

Why the basics still matter more than the latest biohacking trend

The five questions to ask before trying your next biohack

If you’ve been caught up in the pressure to constantly optimize your health, this conversation will give you a different way to think about what is actually worth your time, money, and attention.
