NPR on Lasers in the Matrix

NPR says it independently authenticated unusual text messages sent shortly before the 2024 presidential election referencing an “anomaly in the Matrix” and more than 10,000 “lasers in space.” But what did those messages actually mean?

In this episode, I look specifically at NPR’s reporting, the upcoming documentary where the messages are discussed, the explanation involving Starlink’s real laser technology, and the disputed connection to election interference. The messages are authenticated. Their meaning is another question entirely.
