Jesus Is the King (September 6, 2026)

<p>Jesus is King—and His kingdom is still expanding.</p><p>As Pastor Lucas Chance leads us from the Gospel of Luke into Acts, we discover that Acts is really part two of the story. Jesus has risen from the dead, ascended to heaven, and sent the Holy Spirit to empower His followers.</p><p>When the disciples ask Jesus about restoring the kingdom, He redirects their attention to something more important: <strong>the mission</strong>. They are to receive the power of the Holy Spirit and become His witnesses to the ends of the earth.</p><p>That calling hasn&#39;t changed.</p><p>This message challenges us to stop focusing primarily on our own problems, distractions, and circumstances and instead ask: <strong>Am I staying on mission?</strong></p><p>Jesus is still King. His Spirit is still working. His kingdom is still advancing—and He has chosen us to be His witnesses.</p><p></p>
