Children's Books Matter - Ellwyn Autumn - Host Marsha Casper Cook

This week on Writers Talk, Marsha sits down with children's and YA author Ellwyn Autumn, M.Ed., to talk about writing stories for children and how difficult it is to sell books in an overcrowded market.

Ellwyn Autumn, a certified teacher and author of children's picture books, middle-grade novels, and YA fiction. Ellwyn shares how her classroom experience shapes stories like the award-winning Kamyla Chung series, which tackles topics kids face every day.

Marsha is also a children's author which she wrote from experiences that she learned while working in a Pediatric office as a  Laboratory Technician.

They also dig into their path to self-publishing, building a series readers return to, and what it means to write books that both entertain and teach.
