Worship The Living God
Every Lord's Day is a day of corporate worship. We worship the Lord together because it is the right thing to do.
This morning, however, was extra special for us because we had prepared a missional-themed worship service. We considered Psalm 96:6-9. This Psalm teaches that God calls His chosen people, and even people from various tribes, tongues, and nations who do not know Him, to come to know Him and His living Word.
"Splendour and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength!
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts!
Worship the Lord in the splendour of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!"
- Psalm 96:6-9, ESV
