Diddy Reportedly Injured in Altercation at Fort Dix (10/15/26)

Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly suffered a serious head injury during an altercation with fellow FCI Fort Dix inmate Christopher “Dudus” Coke, the former Jamaican gang leader who headed the Shower Posse. According to sources cited by TMZ and subsequently reported by the Daily Mail, Coke had become angry with Combs after an NBC News report detailed allegations that the music mogul had been enjoying unusually comfortable treatment behind bars. The report allegedly triggered at least two prison raids and the confiscation of contraband cell phones from inmates, including Coke. Sources claimed the dispute escalated into a physical fight in which Combs suffered the worse injuries and was transported outside the New Jersey federal prison for medical treatment before being returned. Combs’ spokesman, Juda Engelmayer, stressed that his team could not independently verify the account and said their immediate concern was Combs’ health.

The alleged fight came amid growing scrutiny of reports describing Combs’ lifestyle at Fort Dix, where former inmates claimed he had access to contraband, specially prepared meals, a cell phone, massages and other privileges financed through arrangements involving other prisoners and outside commissary deposits. Combs’ representatives disputed the characterization of his incarceration as luxurious and maintained that much of what had been described amounted to ordinary prison life or unverified rumor. Coke, meanwhile, had been serving a 23-year federal sentence after pleading guilty to drug- and gun-trafficking charges following his extradition from Jamaica. The reported altercation added another layer of controversy to Combs’ incarceration, but the precise circumstances remained unconfirmed by federal prison officials, who declined to discuss an individual inmate’s medical condition or conditions of confinement.
