Why won’t investigators give back Kaylee Goncalves’ phone? Ongoing Bryan Kohberger investigation?

Kaylee Goncalves’ family says law enforcement refuses to give them her cell phone, despite investigators giving back the other victims’ phones. Kaylee’s father Steve Goncalves says investigators have been unsuccessful getting into the phone — and even now — are trying to access it. With the investigation technically over, why is this still important? And why won’t police return the phone? Brian investigates in this episode — and also discusses other developments in the Kohberger case including his fight to change his guilty plea.
