Bruins Young Core Is STEPPING UP

Bruins Beat breaks down Boston’s 6-1 win over Utah and the encouraging signs emerging from the Bruins’ young core. Evan Marinofsky and Conor Ryan discuss David Pastrnak and Morgan Geekie breaking through offensively, Jeremy Swayman’s strong start in net and the continued questions surrounding Pavel Zacha. They also dive into the early impact of James Hagens, Matt Poitras and Frederic Brunet, why Boston’s commitment to playing its young players is already paying off and what the defense could look like once Charlie McAvoy returns. Later, the guys discuss potential Bruins trade targets, including Dylan Larkin and Simon Edvinsson, what Boston should be willing to give up and which top prospects should remain off limits.
