48% Of Women Say Menopause Has Put Parts Of Their Lives On Hold – With Confidence Top Of The List

Almost half of women say perimenopause or menopause has forced them to put parts of their lives on hold, with confidence emerging as one of the biggest challenges.

New research from Holland & Barrett also highlights the impact on relationships, exercise and socialising, while just one in ten women say they have felt sufficiently informed and supported through the experience.

Ahead of World Menopause Day this Sunday, Alan Morrissey was joined by Dr Máire Finn, GP with Centric Health in Ennis and female health expert, to discuss the findings, the impact menopause can have beyond physical symptoms, and the supports available to women.
