Shut Up and Play The Hits

The theme of this week’s show, well there really isn’t one. I had a busy week. Tuesday night I saw Charley Crockett at the Sylvee and then Thursday night I popped down to Chicago to see Bob Mould and Sugar. (ashow i’d been waiting 30 years to see). So I’m a bit worn out from soo much activity on a school night.

My notes say “Shut up and play the hits” So we are going to do exactly that.

HERE’S WHAT WE PLAYED

Charley Pride “Kiss An Angel Good Mornin’”

Johnny Cash “Folsom Prison Blues”

Hank Williams “Hey Good Lookin (feat. The Drifting Cowboys)”

Jeannie C. Riley “Harper Valley P.T.A.”

Buck Owens “Above And Beyond”

Willie Nelson “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain”

Waylon Jennings “Good Hearted Woman”

Tanya Tucker “Delta Dawn”

Conway Twitty “Hello Darlin’”
