China has unveiled a plan to advance the circular economy during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, with a goal of growing its resource recycling industry to 8 trillion yuan, or roughly 1.2 trillion US dollars, by 2030. How will China turn that ambition into reality, and how could a more circular economy help the country meet its climate goals?
