Lindsay Clancy Hearing: Defense Takes New Approach After Mistrial

A major development in the Lindsay Clancy case. During today's hearing, defense attorney Kevin Reddington argued that prosecutors failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Clancy actually killed her three children — a significant new approach following the mistrial earlier this month.

Judge William Sullivan did not rule on the defense's request for a required finding of not guilty, while other major issues — including double jeopardy, the controversy surrounding the holdout juror and the prosecution's request for a gag order — remain unresolved. The next major hearing is scheduled for November 2.
