A Light in a Dark Place - Guest Hoai-Linh

In this episode of Cryptid Warfare Podcast, I sit down with Hoai-Linh for a powerful conversation about her spiritual journey, her search for truth, and what ultimately brought her back to Jesus Christ and Scripture.

We talk about her experiences with spirituality, New Age beliefs, ayahuasca, and the supernatural—and how looking back at those experiences through the lens of Scripture changed the way she understands them.

We also dive into the biblical subject of fallen angels, demons, spiritual deception, and spiritual warfare.

What happens when something feels spiritual, but we have to ask whether it is actually from God?

Together, we discuss 1 John 4:1, the command to “test the spirits,” and why Christians need to use Scripture to discern spiritual experiences rather than automatically accepting everything supernatural as being from God.

Most importantly, this conversation isn’t about glorifying darkness. It’s about recognizing the darkness while pointing people toward the Light of Jesus Christ.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5

A testimony of searching, deception, discernment, and finding the Light in a dark place.
