Two Mariah Carey's?! - Castlevania Belmont's Curse impressions | Epic Games vibe coding | Xbox Labs

Brad and Micah have both been playing Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and the two hosts have come away with mildly different experiences of the metroidvania-style action adventure. Brad also embraces his inner Robert Moses in Car Park Capital, a satirical city-destroying game where you transform a vibrant community hub into a car-obsessed urban hellscape. Carrie recounts her visit to Super Nintendo World at Universal in California, and she and Terrence review the new Street Fighter movie, weighing what works and what falls flat. The hosts take aim at Epic Games who has decided to vibe code its launcher and storefront, with predictably messy results. They also examine Microsoft’s launch of Xbox Labs and how the initiative positions Xbox to benefit from the growing wave of AI-generated code in video games. Big Walk has announced it is skipping Xbox, citing Microsoft’s status as a target of the BDS movement. Congressman Richie Torres is introducing legislation that would require game companies to ensure consumers truly own their digital games. The hosts ask whether the bill has a realistic path forward and what meaningful digital ownership protections could look like. In the Post Office segment, Micah crashes out after discovering just who has appeared as a playable skin in Fortnite over the years.
