🏰 Traitors Episode 5 Recap: Apple Murder in Plain Sight

Amy Phillips and Emily Dorezas recap a “Traitors” episode they loved but criticize producers for repeating predictable “murder in plain sight” mechanics that savvy players like Victor and Abby L anticipated. They discuss the manic scramble around the castle, Joe’s obvious apple-tossing attempt at the murder, and how Jay’s overacting and constant accusations (especially toward Katie) backfired, with Nia calling him out for not voting the names he pushed. They debate whether Sherry’s quiet, vague roundtable style made her look like a traitor and react to the uncomfortable coffin wake, including Victor passing gas. The episode ends on a cliffhanger about who was actually murdered—Mark or Clyde—and they predict upcoming banishment outcomes, with Amy hoping Joe is exposed and Emily suspecting Victor gets banished.
