The Tai-Ex opened up 24-points this morning from yesterday's close, at 49,736

on turnover of 15-billion N-T.

The market surged more than 1,200 points on Monday to hit a new record high

as buying in AI-related stocks was boosted by a rally from tech stocks on

Wall Street last Friday.

Metaverse healthcare can boost Taiwan's global competitiveness

Health Minister Shih Chung-liang says the integration of metaverse technology

into healthcare could enhance the country's international visibility and

competitiveness in the medical sector.

Speaking at a conference in Taipei, the minister said the development marks
