Dak, Purdy, Skubal, and the Plan to Fix Baseball

Max Kellerman and The Ringer’s Anthony Dabbundo break down a Thursday-night flop Max calls “the most goddamn hilarious thing.” The NFC East is suddenly anybody’s division, and Dak Prescott’s ceiling is up for debate. Then comes the question of the week: Is Brock Purdy the MVP so far, or just another product of Kyle Shanahan’s system? The Dodgers and Brewers are about to square off, and Milwaukee may have blown it at the deadline by passing on Tarik Skubal. Will it cost them this series? Before the show ends, Max unveils his plan to fix baseball’s economics. Will anyone agree?
