Yellow Jackets Hunt First Win | Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Football News

Georgia Tech’s football team is on a desperate quest for their first win of the season, facing FCS opponent Mercer this Saturday in a must-win showdown. With losses to Colorado and Tennessee already under their belt, the Yellow Jackets are hoping a fresh look — gold helmets, gold jerseys, grey pants — will bring some luck. But they’ll need more than style: the offense, battered by injuries on the line, must start strong and protect the QB, while the defense, struggling to stop the run and pressure quarterbacks, needs immediate improvement. A dominant performance against Mercer could reignite their season before the brutal road trip to Stanford.
