RGF Ep. 295: The Secret to Thinking Like a Billionaire

Happy Regular Guy Friday! We fooled them again and somehow made it through another week! This week, we're spinning the big wheel on The Price Is Right, revisiting the '70s, and getting some unexpected life lessons from the people with a B. We talk about why sometimes the best thing you can do is lean into who you are instead of trying to keep up with everyone else. We talk about how shag carpeting and wood-paneled televisions and Star Trek basements, being a little out of style long enough eventually makes you interesting again. We talk billionaires, old money versus new money, why having millions doesn't always mean having cash, and why generosity has nothing to do with how much you have. We talk $70 econo suits, L.L.Bean blazers, buying your own island (don't!), and the difference between looking wealthy and actually enjoying life. We talk visiting the PBD podcast, investing in yourself, the extraordinary awareness of successful people, and why sometimes you have to write the check, take the chance, and figure out the playbook later. Plus, the Island of Misfit Toys, Halloween ketchup costumes, and the importance of raising kids who can find happiness and independence in the world. Maybe success isn't about how much money you make, but what you do with what you've got, who you help along the way, and whether you're enjoying the ride. Happy Friday. We'll Talk Shawtly!
