7.79 The Simple Life: Esther Peterson | Living on Purpose not Pressure

Hey ladies! Welcome back to Help Me Abide.

I am really excited about today’s episode because I get to introduce you to my friend, Esther Peterson.

And I think our topic today is something that probably hits home for a lot of us: living on purpose, not pressure. There’s always something else to do. Someone else who needs us. Something we feel like we should be doing better and before we know it, we can spend our whole day just responding to whatever is pressing on us instead of actually living with purpose.

That’s one of the reasons I was excited to have Esther on the podcast.

I’ve always admired Esther’s christian character. She has such a genuine desire to know God. Not just know about God, but to know Him personally and walk with Him. She has a wonderful family whom she loves deeply and If you know Esther, you probably also know that she almost always has a smile on her face.

There’s just something about her that makes the Christian life look attractive. And I really appreciate that because it’s not a fake, picture perfect kind of Christianity. It’s authentic.

She’s someone who is choosing to walk with God in the middle of real life, and today she’s going to talk to us about how we can do that on purpose instead of simply living under pressure.

So if you’re a woman who sometimes feels like you’re just trying to keep up with everything and everybody, I think you’re really going to enjoy this conversation.

Are you ready to be encouraged and equipped to abide in Christ? Let’s get into the heart of today’s episode.

RESOURCES:

Walk in the Spirit - Music

Thompson Tee - Undershirts

<a href="https://www.thriftbooks.com/w/this-present-darkness-by-frank-e-peretti/251441/item/5758282/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=high_vol_frontlist_standard_shopping_customer_acquisition_20982170636&utm_adgroup=&utm_term=&utm_content=689314300486&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20982170636&gbraid=0AAAAADwY45gjulATgm724MBBDqJ28kEuQ&gclid=Cj0KCQjwh4TVBhCWARIsAG0czmqzyYE0ptJLPqNUKmkrSQO7k_QsC5RRJI6aeDFIf0XeSomiUZ-4wskaApzdEA
