Mizzou Storytellers - Bryan Maggard

The Mizzou Storytellers podcast returns for the first episode of Season 4 with hosts Loretta Jones, Dave Matter and Producer Steve Sowers. They kick off the season with newly hired Deputy AD and Chief Operating Officer Bryan Maggard, who returned to Mizzou this summer after spending the last decade as Athletics Director at Louisiana. Maggard tells the story of his journey from Dexter, Kansas to college athletics and his 20+ years at Mizzou overseeing academics and working closely with former football coach Gary Pinkel and longtime AD Mike Alden. Bryan tells the story of his transition to AD in Lafayette and what led him to return to Mizzou earlier this year to reunite with Laird Veatch in Columbia. In their first episode in the new podcast studio, Loretta, Dave and Steve catch up on all that’s happened at Mizzou in the last six months and look forward to big things in the coming weeks.
