Reflections On the Genesis Narrative

<p>With the conclusion of the festivals of Tishrei, this week we begin the weekly cycle of Torah readings with the first portion of B’reishith, the start of the Book of Genesis. Jim Long and Rabbi Chaim Richman ponder the creation of man, and share thoughts on this expansive Torah portion. Our hosts also give thanks for the great miracle of the thwarted plane hijacking that took place during Sukkot and examine the media&#39;s -- and the world&#39;s -- reaction to this unprecedented event... and its meaning. _________</p><p>Rabbi Chaim Richman Jerusalem Lights | Torah for Everyone Follow Rabbi Richman on Substack: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUZZTVljRUpxQkdDakhMcVowZ2RYWFR4QWNPVnxBSTVJdTV1NUVxWGZzdzFrZUVHYm9zWnZBNi1xU1ZfdTJSa2JiVVpUT1AyVUxHWGMwT05iTE1MbmF5T2JQc1doRmdMRVZUN0dveGFKdm9VdVkxU09UMjAyeGprQVFlV09rY0l2&q=https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack.com%2F%40chaimrichman&v=psuGTzv67wE" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">https://substack.com/@chaimrichman</a></p><p>Join our new WhatsApp channel! <a href="https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUZZTVljR1NXZ0tUd0wycjFhRnJVVHpFRjZZM3xBSTVJdTVzZ0VIU0dfVXFzc0llWkptZGdHQ1cxWkJ0ZTBxOUZUazZfMVNHRXZRaVlsWXNiT2RCakh2QkNsaEt1cTRqb3JHV0JqbW4ycENZYW56ZG51VVpnRjU1dXdqNTlLOTVC&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwhatsapp.com%2Fchannel%2F0029VbDNanG3QxRsAHcafA45&v=psuGTzv67wE" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbDN...</a></p><p>Rabbi Chaim Richman&#39;s &#39;Jerusalem Lights&#39;, a non-profit educational organization, shares the wisdom of Torah teachings with all sincere spiritual seekers, emphasizing the ennoblement of the human spirit, the brotherhood of mankind, and the nurturing and development of each individual’s personal faith and relationship with the Creator. </p><p>Torah for Everyone!</p><p>If you enjoy these videos, please consider supporting the work of Jerusalem Lights, Inc., a USA recognized 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit organization to enable these productions to continue and grow: PayPal: infojerusalemlights@gmail.com or: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUZZTVljRndNZ2hKQTY3R0Q1LURGdzNxUXhBd3xBSTVJdTV1RVVZYk4wbzdRSnRjbWFnVmVTanM2dk9fXzhjNC1lZkRMblIwY1M4UUk3WS1FaHpTZllmRS1HZ0cyTDJIYlFSOUh4cnRYRTFnRnphSEFheWpiQUJ6MDhrRzRjYkJJ&q=https%3A%2F%2Fpaypal.me%2FJerusalemLights%3Floc..&v=psuGTzv67wE" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">https://paypal.me/JerusalemLights?l
