Paul Bissonnette on Matthews, McKenna & Why He Ditched the Leafs

Nick Alberga & Zack Phillips are joined by Spittin' Chiclets and NHL on TNT personality Paul Bissonnette to break down the Maple Leafs' 3-3-1 start and more why he's denounced his fandom following John Chayka's arrival in Toronto. Biz dishes on Auston Matthews' resurgence, including his improved foot speed, usage, health and the Leafs' efforts to surround their captain with better talent. Plus, is Toronto a legitimate contender or simply an entertaining team? Biz weighs in on the blue-line concerns following Chris Tanev's injury, whether an aggressive GM could target a big-name defenceman like Zach Werenski at the trade deadline, and what he's seen from Gavin McKenna early in his NHL career. The guys also revisit the blockbuster Matthew Knies-Kirill Marchenko deal and question why Toronto's previous and current management groups were willing to move Knies. Finally, Biz explains why his loyalty to Shane Doan played a major role in his decision to turn his back on the Leafs following Chayka's hiring.
