Misguided and Unwise Decisions Have Serious Consequences

Speaker: Amos Glick
Categories: Obedience, Divine Judgment

Summary: Continuing in 1 Samuel 4–5, Brother Amos traces Israel’s defeat at Ebenezer. Instead of repenting, the people carried the Ark into battle, and they lost thirty thousand men, Eli and his sons, and the Ark itself. He compares their mistake to modern superstitions such as the “Epistle of Jesus Christ” chain letter, and he points to Leviticus 26 to show that God faithfully keeps His warnings as well as His promises. He challenges listeners not to assume their heritage exempts them, but to honor the Lord through obedience and just living.

Disclaimer: This summary was generated using AI and may not be an accurate representation of the speakers message.
