NBA GM Survey IGNORES New Orleans Pelicans—Can Zion Williamson CHANGE Their Fate?

New Orleans Pelicans find themselves erased from NBA relevance as the latest GM survey barely mentions the franchise. Can Zion Williamson’s make-or-break season finally change league perception, or is it time to pivot to a rebuild around Jeremiah Fears and Derik Queen? Jake Madison dissects how the NBA’s top executives see the Pelicans—highlighting troubling signals for Herb Jones, Jamahl Mosley’s unproven impact, and the roster’s uncertain direction.

Key talking points include Zion’s health versus actual team results, the lost luster of All-Defense talent Herb Jones, and why New Orleans must choose between genuine playoff contention or committing to a youth movement. Madison raises tough questions: Is building around Zion still viable? Are coaching changes enough to fix deep-seated issues? The answers this season could define the Pelicans’ future—and finally lift the franchise out of irrelevance.
