Daniel - A Lion Among Men Pt2: Babylon's Blueprint

This sermon examines Daniel 1:3-7 to illustrate how the world system seeks to assimilate believers by selecting the gifted, schooling them in secular ideologies, supplying their needs to create dependency, and substituting their God-given identity with worldly labels. The preacher argues that this 'Babylonian blueprint' mirrors modern cultural pressures that aim to reprogram the thinking and behaviour of Christians, particularly the younger generation. In response, the message urges parents and the church to ground their children in the Word of God, enabling them to discern truth from error and maintain a secure identity in Christ rather than in societal approval or material provision. The central theme emphasizes that while the world offers a comprehensive system for control, God remains sovereign over history and identity, calling believers to stand firm in their faith without compromising their allegiance to Him.
