Ep. 208 with Steven Juskewitch for DA: Military Veteran, Prosecutor & Independent Candidate

<p>In this episode of the Muddy Waters Podcast, Chuck Ellis sits down with Steven Juskewitch, independent candidate for District Attorney in Hancock and Washington counties. Steve shares his background—from a tough upbringing and 28 years of Army service (including the 82nd Airborne and Korea) to decades as a prosecutor, defense attorney, complaint justice, and trial lawyer handling serious felonies. They talk about what a DA actually does, why politics should stay out of the courtroom, problems with how grand juries are used, case backlogs on serious crimes, treating victims and the accused fairly, and how he would run a more efficient, straightforward office.
