Show 721 – Electric Youth – Part Three

The batteries are fresh, the Walkman’s loaded and the nightclub doors are officially open. Welcome to Neon Nights &“Electric Youth – Part Three.” Hosted & curated by John von Ahlen / Parralox & Costa Lakoumentas, tonight we’re stepping into a world where dance-pop ruled the charts, house music was finding its voice, and every second single came with a seven-minute extended mix. This is the sound of roller rinks, late-night radio, mirrored dancefloors and record stores filled with 12-inch singles. Some of the fashions may have aged, but these records still know exactly how to work a room. Let’s go.
