SERMON SERIES SYNOPSIS: Most people think of church as a building, a service, or an organization. God calls it a family.

In Ephesians, we discover God's design for His family—the Church. Through Jesus Christ, people from every background and generation are brought together as sons and daughters of God, brothers and sisters in Christ. Like every healthy family, God's family has an identity, relationships, leadership, responsibilities, and a purpose.

In this series, we'll explore who belongs in God's family, how we become part of it, how we're called to relate to one another, how spiritual leaders guide and protect the family, and how every member contributes to its growth and health.

SERMON SUMMARY: Every family has a way of living, and God's family is no different. We don't follow the house rules to earn our place in the family, but we live differently because we belong to the family.

When Jesus gives us a new identity, He gives us a new way to live.
