Zverev & Rybakina are your US Open Champions! | US Open Something Major Finals | EP 215

On this episode of Something Major, Sam, John, and Stevie break down the US Open finals, starting with Alexander Zverev’s four-set win over Ben Shelton, an early break, a lopsided second-set tiebreak, and a crucial 24-shot rally that helped turn the match. They discuss Zverev’s return tactics, his ability to take pace off the ball, and the strange moment he didn’t realize he’d won.

On the women’s side, they recap Elena Rybakina’s three-set win over Aryna Sabalenka, focusing on her first-strike tennis, composure, and Sabalenka’s frustration.

Plus, they cover the US Open celebrity scene, scheduling against the NFL, travel routines, Shelton’s breakout, Fritz’s disappointment, tournament takeaways, and the final bracket challenge results.
