Tough Town for a Clown

Opie, Vic Henley, and DC Benny go from childhood fat nicknames and Token Whitey war stories at the Apollo to Benny’s all-timer: he filmed Comedy Central spots as a clown, crashed his wife’s psych session in full makeup, started a turf war with a Washington Square mime, got arrested when the mime’s kit turned out to be 50 bags of weed… and years later found the mugshot hanging in a SoHo gallery labeled “Tough Town for a Clown.” Plus the worst clown PSA ever made, Halloween costume panic, and pumpkin-spice privilege.
