Should Women Preach in Church

This message addresses the question of whether women should preach in church, emphasizing the importance of interpreting Scripture within its proper context.

Senior Pastor Daniel Kaira explains that in 1 Timothy 2:11-12 and 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, the Greek word for woman and wife is Gyne and for man and husband is Andros these are interchangeable, meaning Paul was addressing order within marriage, not banning women from preaching.

Pastor notes that Scripture must interpret Scripture, pointing to 1 Corinthians 11:5, Acts 2:16-18, Acts 18:24-26, Acts 21:8-9, and John 20:17, where women prayed, prophesied, taught, and were even the first to preach the resurrection. The conclusion: women can preach and open churches as long as they follow order.

The service continued with a teaching on the "Season of God's Power," highlighting God as our Comforter (Luke 4:18; 2 Corinthians 1:4-10) One who does not always remove us from consequences but comforts us through them.
