Pod 366, Ep. 185: A Mildly Weird Week Saved by "Kwaidan" (Video)

We begin this week with announcements of 2 upcoming projects, both of which we're skeptical about: Kane Parsons' likely unwise "Backrooms 2" and an English-language remake of the French black comedy "Vincent Must Die." The week's biggest news is a 4K restoration of the world cinema classic "Kwaidan," a visually-stunning collection of ghost stories from Japan. And home video sees the premium-priced release of Gregg Araki's "I Want Your Sex" on VOD, a 4K UHD/Blu-ray steelbook of "Annihilation," and "The Substance" forerunner "Helter Skelter."
