<p>Liam McCabe, co-founder of Code &amp; Wander, replaced the corner chatbot with an Ask button that turns a visitor's question into a custom page. A React app in an iframe streams JSON from Claude one component at a time, using a design system schema and a knowledge base that's one big JSON file. Rate limits, a spend cap, and server-side caching keep costs down (an uncached query runs about 50 cents). The questions visitors type reveal content gaps and service demand that clicks never showed.</p><p>A visitor declaring what they want beats guessing from tracking pixels, and browser-level personalization could make that opt-in.
