STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE (Part 2/2)

We're back in a galaxy far, far away!

In Part 2 of our look at Star Wars: A New Hope (1977), GB and AJ pick up where we left off and dive into everything from the Death Star escape and the final trench run to some of the film's most memorable scenes, lines and characters (and a terrible ending?!?).

Why has Star Wars remained so beloved nearly 50 years later? We discuss the magic behind the film, its world-building, humour, music and visual effects - and whether it really deserves all the praise.

We also get into:

• Why the film feels like two completely different movies

• The Death Star hosting a heist movie

• Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader's lightsaber duel

• Luke switching off his targeting computer

• The medal ceremony and why it falls flat

• The legendary Cantina scene

• Han shot first and the many changes made to the movie

• Favourite scenes and lines
