S03E25: Stephen Kings "IT" (1990)

BEEP BEEP Richie. 🤡Fire up your VCRs and grab your yellow raincoats! This week, Michael Reagan and Nate Lane are heading into the sewers of Derry, Maine alongside recurring contributor and resident retro expert Stan (aka @nostalgiaatnite on Instagram). The guys are tackling the legendary, star-studded 1990 made-for-TV miniseries adaptation of Stephen King’s IT.In this episode, the trio breaks down the phenomenal dual-timeline cast, dissects the terrifyingly brilliant plot, and revisits the moments that absolutely paralyzed them with fear as kids. From Tim Curry’s charismatic, nightmare-inducing performance as Pennywise the Dancing Clown to the parts they still absolutely love today, no stone is left unturned. And yeah… they definitely talk about that infamous stop-motion spider ending. If this deep dive doesn't completely fill your floating balloon, worry not! The guys couldn't possibly fit all their Pennywise praise into just one episode. We have a special Behind-the-Scenes Companion Piece dropping next week!Don't forget to follow Stan on Instagram @nostalgiaatnite for your daily dose of retro goodness, and remember... they all float down here!
