S03E33 Built With Heart, Play With Grit: Inside the Mind of Sheonah Forbes

Claire Talks Netball joins Carla for a fascinating conversation with Sheonah Forbes, Northern Ireland Warriors Head Coach and Nottingham Forest Netball assistant coach. With more than 20 years of coaching experience, She discusses her journey through the England Performance Pathway, leading Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games and stepping into the NSL with Nottingham Forest.

They explore selection, developing young talent, building the Warriors identity, coaching culture, funding and pathways across the home nations, and why investing in coaches is just as important as developing players. There is plenty for coaches and players to take away, plus a quick-fire round that reveals Sheonah would rather win ugly than lose beautifully!
