This week on DCMWG, Mona kicks things off with a big announcement: she’s officially pulling up to the L.A. area (2:05)! From there, she recaps Joe Budden’s birthday celebration (2:40), talks about her fresh new haircut (5:05), and spills on what went down after the dinner portion of Joe’s birthday festivities (7:35). She then circles back to the recent Crazy Hands episode (10:05) before the conversation shifts into this week’s headlines, starting with the reported recovery of 163 missing children in Florida (12:10). Next, the crew gets into the wild case of Deajon Love, the man accused of pretending to be a San Francisco 49ers player and allegedly scamming 26 women out of more than $1.3 million (16:45). Mona then discusses the arrest of the man accused of terrorizing Center City Philadelphia while wearing a Chucky-style mask (22:30), before diving into creator @ArtyStackz2.0 recent content exposing the culture surrounding DL men and hookups in Philadelphia parks (23:35). Mona then gets into her latest drama with Tia Kemp (24:55) before breaking down the Penn State fraternity drug-dealing scandal (27:35). The conversation takes a more serious turn with the Lindsay Clancy case and a discussion about postpartum depression (29:50). After that, Mona answers another listener dilemma in What Would Damona Do? (34:35) Finally, the episode closes on a much lighter—and messier—note as Mona gives love to Chef @Sien_TheChef, who blessed the entire team with a meal during the recording and somehow managed to spark a little controversy when everybody started fighting over his signature dessert (45:30). You already know how the cousins get when there’s a good plate involved!
