Awareness vs. Intuition

Awareness vs. Intuition2 oct.11 min

One tells you what’s true. The other tells you when to move.

You walk into the meeting, and something’s off.

Nobody says anything. The agenda hasn’t changed. But the room is quieter than it should be, and the person who always talks first is staring at her laptop.

A few days later, a different moment. An offer lands in your inbox. On paper, it’s everything you asked for. And something in you says, not this one.

You can’t explain it. So you say yes anyway.

Those are two different instruments. Most of us were never taught to tell them apart. The first is awareness. The second is intuition. Confuse them, and you’ll either freeze when you should move or jump when you should look.

What Awareness Is

Awareness is seeing what is actually in front of you. Not what you hoped. Not what you were told. What’s there.

It works from evidence: behavior, patterns, and the gap between what people say and what they do. Its question is simple: What is actually happening right now?

Awareness slows you down just enough to notice the shift in the room, catch your own reaction before it starts driving, and see the pattern everyone else keeps walking past.

What Intuition Is

Intuition is what you know before you can prove it.
