These lawyers wanted good education for their children. They realized they could not get it from the government schools. Hard to believe that the right to privately education your own children is not an articulated right - everywhere. Certainly, here in the United States, where no less than James Madison wrote that we must not stretch "general welfare" to include education or else tryanny would reign.
