October 7, 2023. Some 3000 Hamas-led terrorists rammed through Israel’s southern border. They fired more than 3,000 rockets, killed 1200 Israelis, and took 250 hostages back to Gaza. Unthinkably, the barbaric invasion of Israel set off a global spike in antisemitism. This week on The Land and the Book, we’ll ponder “Shadows of October,” a probing film with profound questions.
