The Lone Ranger - "The Phantom Killer" (Old Time Radio, 1942)

The Lone Ranger presents “The Phantom Killer,” originally broadcast November 6, 1942. Episode 1528 finds the masked rider and Tonto on the isolated stage route between Dobie and Prairie City.

A string of mysterious stagecoach robberies has left drivers and guards dead without apparent wounds, while gold shipments vanish. With suspicion falling on the Lone Ranger, he follows the dangerous trail for a clue. Brace Beemer stars as the Lone Ranger, with John Todd as Tonto, in this Kix-sponsored Blue Network adventure.

The Lone Ranger presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
