Cashin’ a Newacheck: Happy Gilmore 2
As we all count down the hotly anticipated release of Grown Ups 3 in H1 ‘27, today we explore the sequel to the adored 1996 comedy classic Happy Gilmore, Happy Gilmore 2, directed by Kyle Newacheck (Workaholics). This cinematic project could be considered the artful packaging of a financial transaction between 200 brands and personalities. It could be considered a rather cynical and lazy successor to a film that was responsible for making Adam Sandler a breakout hit, and household name. It could also be held up as a rare example of Rob Schneider being seen amongst normal entertainers in 2026. What is could not be identified as, however, is a good movie. Hosted on Acast.
