Episode 369: Put Yourself in the Story...

19th Sunday after PentecostSermon: Put Yourself in the Story...Scripture: John 6:1-15What if you didn’t just hear the story—you put yourself in it?This Sunday is Communion Sunday, and we’ll look at the familiar story of Jesus feeding the five thousand in a different way. As we hear the story, where do we find ourselves? In the crowd? With the disciples? Holding the loaves and fish? Or simply hungry and looking for something more? Before Sunday, consider:Where do I see myself in this story? What am I bringing to Jesus?Where am I focused on what I don’t have? What might God be asking me to trust? What happens when I place what I have in God’s hands?Worship Schedule8:45am: Contemporary Worship10am: Sunday School11am: Traditional Worship
