He Put Flyers on 3,000 Cars a Month Until Allegiant Stadium Called | Steve, Mr. Fries Man

Steve printed 3,000 flyers a month and put them on car doors outside Allegiant Stadium for three years. Then the stadium called him, and he almost let it go to voicemail because he thought it was spam.

Steve is the owner of Mr. Fries Man Las Vegas. He grew up in Gardena, learned to cook at 11 because he was tired of TV dinners, and spent years in Vegas nightlife at the Bank inside Bellagio and five years at Drai's. When the pandemic closed the clubs, he filed the paperwork on a restaurant instead. It took ten months to open and he paid rent the whole way.

In this episode: why loaded fries work as a main dish, the flyer system that still beats social media, the two rounds of tasting against a dozen restaurants at Allegiant, the Kool-Aid that everyone remembered, employing at-risk kids through YAP, the patio and beer and wine coming to Flamingo in January, the Mr. Fries Man sports bar he wants to build, and the autobiography he is releasing December 3rd.

Find Mr. Fries Man Las Vegas on Instagram and TikTok @mrfriesman_lv

🎙️ Vegas Local Living
Hosted by Jack Greenberg

👉 Thinking about buying or selling in Las Vegas?
