DALIN OLIVER | FROM THE CAPE FLATS TO THE WORLD STAGE. MARRIAGE; BEING CARAMEL; HIS WEEK

From teaching maths and history to making audiences laugh around the world, comedian Dalin Oliver has one incredible story to tell!

This week on WAW – What A Week with DJ Fresh, we sit down with the award-winning South African comedian, former teacher and radio personality for a hilarious, honest and revealing conversation.

Dalin takes us through his journey from Retreat on the Cape Flats to international comedy stages, the realities of making a living from laughter, navigating race and identity in South Africa, and the sacrifices behind building a successful entertainment career.

We also unpack his extraordinary experience of being stranded in Dubai during missile attacks — and how he somehow turned a frightening ordeal into his comedy show, Stuck in Dubai.

From relationships and career risks to comedy, controversy and life lessons, nothing is off the table!

What a comedian. What a journey. WHAT A WEEK!
