Justice Alito Recuses From the Supreme Court’s Big Climate Case

Can cities and counties sue oil companies for global climate change? The Supreme Court is starting a new term with case asking that question, Suncor v. Boulder County. Alas, Justice Samuel Alito now says he'll recuse, which could lead to a 4-4 split.
