Yours Truly Johnny Dollar - "The Matter of the Medium-Well Done Part 1" (Old Time Radio)

Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents “The Matter of the Medium-Well Done, Part 1,” originally broadcast on CBS Radio Network on May 14, 1956. In this first chapter of a five-part serial, Bob Bailey stars as freelance insurance investigator Johnny Dollar in a story written, produced, and directed by Jack Johnstone.

Sent from Hartford to New York, Dollar investigates when a wealthy young woman seeks to revise the beneficiaries of her $110,000 life-insurance policy—adding a man with a troubling reputation and a purported psychic medium. With the case leading to an East River apartment hotel and the attention of the NYPD, Johnny begins following the uneasy trail.

Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
